This book is a stroll through the minds and imaginations of lichens scattered throughout the forests. The short stories describe the love, mathematics, values, and other important things of lichens. These composite creatures are never alone and are masters of friendship. Perhaps this is why, when looking at lichens, people understood what symbiosis is – the ability to live together. Forming alliances with fungi and algae, these creatures possess special powers – for example, they can easily survive in space or dissolve stones. One special lichen, Rašytinis Brėžis, was even named after the writing of the forests.
